I had heard that the best spot to watch the Canal Parade was on a bridge (makes sense) so we went two hours early to scope out a spot! I had to elbow people out of the way for hours and the boys nearly LOST it from boredom but finally the boats started coming by and putting on a show. We also lucked out that an ice cream cart parked right behind us on the bridge so Carter was able to go back and forth while I held our ground. It was a really lovely parade with fireworks, streamers, confetti, and acrobatics. Our favorite part was when the guys did tricks over the water on the hoverboards.
