Since our fostering days had come to an end, we decided to donate all our supplies to the Forsyth County Humane Society. Kitten season had begun and it nearly killed me to not walk out with all these babies!

My tennis team treated me to wonderful lunch at El Felix to celebrate our season and congratulate me in surviving being the captain lol I would have stayed on and kept doing it if we weren’t moving. I love this team and love playing together. I will miss them all so much!

A Visit to Hawkesdene

Shortly after their engagement we took a roadtrip to Andrews, North Carolina to check out the wedding venue. Although it rained on us, we could tell Hawkesdene would be perfect! Alex absolutely fell in love with the location and the fact that everyone could stay on property was a wonderful addition. We managed to take some adorable engagement photos before heading back to Atlanta with a winner of a location!

Alex asked me to be her maid of honor and of course I said yes!!

My dad got me tickets to John Legend for my birthday and Cathy provided us a delicious charcuterie board and wine before the show! It was our first time to Chastain and so so so hot but John Legend did a great show!

And now we hold our breath and wait…!

We have loved this house for the last three years and the neighborhood could not be more amazing. It is bittersweet to list it but we know the next step in our adventure is going to be incredible! All our projects have been completed and now we wait and see who will buy this wonderful house. Hopefully they love it and care for it like we have!
