We hopped a plane in the middle of June to join Linc’s extended family at Rockywold Deephaven camp;. It’s like sleep away for families with planned activities, a dining hall, and lots of exploring. The weather was pretty great all week and we had so much fun spending time with the cousins.

It sure doesn’t hurt that the views are absolutely breathtaking at Rockywold!

We kicked off June by celebrating our 8th anniversary at SIP Wine Bar!

I think we have officially been to the Art Barn four bazillion times!

* Celebrating Shari

A group of us went out to Milton’s to celebrate Shari’s birthday! It was an awesome evening of adult only conversation and a night away from the children. We love an excuse to dress up and get away and what better reason than a birthday with a great friend!!

* A Minor Setback

No home improvement project is without hiccups and when it came to replacing our windows, there was quite a setback. Someone…had mismeasured the new French door for the deck and we were now weeks away from production. We had to relocate the door to the middle of the room because of settling and the ways the windows were fitting in. We also thought it would make furniture placement easier. Well, the middle happened to be just slightly off the other measurements so in order to fix everything, we would have to live with a boarded up house for a few weeks!
