Based on my camera roll for the remainder of January we basically did not do anything of importance aside from cuddle and kiss the kitten! We all fell head over heals for Bex!
I got a call about the most skittish kitten in the world who needed a foster. her current house was too overwhelming and she was scared all the time. Her foster mama had nearly 15 cats and poor baby Bex needed somewhere a little quieter to reside! She is the most gorgeous dilute calico and we were happy to welcome her into the kitten room when we got back from Colorado. I quickly fell in love and wondered if she might be the one to stay forever...
Perhaps the best part of the entire trip was loading everyone up to go dog sledding! This was such an incredible experience and everyone had a blast! The dogs ran so fast and the wind was exhilarating. There was even a point we were fully midair! Thanks Poppy for this amazing gift. This experience and the whole trip are memories we will surely treasure forever!
Puppy was the smallest sled dog but also the mother of most of the pack!
It was an absolute disaster trying to get Carter ready for ski school on day two. He was so anxious about going that he made himself sick to the stomach and pitched the hugest fit! I almost lost it because he was beside himself with worry over something he'd already done the day before. We finally took a moment to breathe, pray, and collect ourselves and managed to make it out the door. He did great once he was out on the mountain and I'm so proud of my boy for tackling his fears!
