Absolutely determined to get these kitties to love him!

We realized the basement was a little too quiet and peaceful and if these kitties were going to be adoptable, we needed to get them used to noise and children! We took all the very best toys, their comfy beds, and moved them up to the main floor of the house. Although they still hid a lot, they didn't hiss anymore when we approached them and even started seeking out attention. They were slowly coming out of their shells and it was so rewarding to see. I don't even want to think about what happened to them before we rescued this sweet pair but just thankful they are safe now!

Success! Kitten Cuddles

The kittens had been with us for four days but they hated being handled

They would let me get close...but not touch them :( Finally I decided I couldn't take it any more and needed some kitten cuddles haha I grabbed a book, wrapped up in a cozy blanket, and sat in the bathroom with the babies for over an hour. Step by step the girls began to sniff me and explore. I ignored them and kept reading my book until one by one, the climbed up on my lap and settled in! I was so ecstatic! Kitten Cuddles! What amazing progress these girls are making!
