Dan surprised Kate with a special wedding band after the ceremony. They were not going to exchange rings but he just couldn't help picking out a gorgeous rose gold band for her!
Even though Alex, Alan, and I had just crossed into Canada, we didn't get nearly enough time at Niagra Falls and so jumped at the chance to walk across the border again and join the rest of the family for their Canadian tour. We even sweet talked the border patrol to stamp our passports (which they refused to do the other day). We also decided to brave the lines and jump on the Canadian version of Maid of the Mist to see Niagra Falls up close and personal! It was spectacular!
Cousins, aunts, and uncles gathered for a wonderful boat tour of Buffalo. Kate was so proud to show off her new city and it was such a beautiful sight by water. We are so thankful for this crew and getting to be together for these milestone events!
I left my boys behind to finish school and the whole extended family flew north to Buffalo for cousin Kate's wedding. While we had a few extra hours between events, Alan, Alex, and I hopped the border to Canada to see Niagra Falls! It was more beautiful and more impressive than any photo I could possibly have taken. We stood for hours just watching the gushing falls and watching the boats drive through the water. We were blessed with absolutely incredible weather and decided one afternoon was not nearly enough for this breathtaking landmark!
