The Baby Brigade is always looking for fun ways to incorporate learning into our play dates. Dina invited her friend Jenn from Little Blast to teach a science class right before summer started! The kids threw water balloons and then made parachutes to help them glide to the ground without popping. Afterward they had yummy snacks and ran around Dina’s amazing backyard until they were exhausted!

From the minute we saw our new house I knew it was missing one thing…an amazing front entry! After replacing 36 windows around the house and upgrading to an incredible leaded glass french door, I’d say our house makes quite the statement! It was screaming for a facelift and these two major projects were exactly the solution.

* Field Day at Preschool
Field day at school (the last week of school!!!) consisted of indoor activities as the weather did not cooperate! Farmer Sue from the Art Barn set up a make shift farm inside one of the classrooms and a bounce house was blown up in the sanctuary. The school definitely made the best of a crummy day and everyone had a great time! Carter loved his teachers Ms. Kristin and Ms. Amy and sure will miss them!

* Disney on Ice
Our friends had extra tickets to Disney on Ice and invited us to join them one evening after school! My boys were unsure about the whole experience but I thought it was great! I think next time we will remember to bring headphones for Carter because he kept getting upset that it was so loud!

* Keeping Up Traditions
In keeping with true HHI tradition (and in honor of mom), we had our annual tennis tournament in Hilton Head! It was a super hot day and the competition was fierce but eventually the top 3 were announced. I was able to defend my title and came in first place again! It was amazing that out of family the top three were girls, but it goes to show you how hard we worked to beat out everyone else!!
