Back to the Beach
When HHI calls…you answer! Lol we joined the family at the end of May to kick off summer with a week long vacation at the beach. The boys were on their best behavior, the weather was incredible, and we packed in as much summer fun as we could! We can’t wait to go back!

The Dry Bar
When my bloggy friend Lauren told me about a mom’s night out event at Dry Bar Avalon, I jumped at the chance to get out and see what it was all about. If you have never had a blow out, I highly recommend experiencing it! We started with a ten minute shampoo and head massage and then Drew styled my hair in what he called a mix between southern belle and play boy bunny lol I had an awesome group of neighborhood ladies that all came out for the event and it was a fabulous experience. That was the first time Lauren and I met in person even though I feel like we’ve been buddies for years! I love the blog world and all the friendships I have made through it.
The gorgeous Mrs. Train <3
A few of the neighborhood mommies-
Joelle, Megan, Me, Tania, and Jennifer
Becky and my neighbor Karen attended too and got all glammed out!
It’s hard not to take a million pictures when you feel like a million bucks!!!!

Wave Runners
Carter is still not a strong swimmer but we decided to sign him up for swim team after not making a ton of progress in swim lessons this year. We thought being around the other kids and practicing every morning would be good for him. He started off with a bang and did amazing on his first day out. Not every day has been great, and there have been many tears, but my boy is hanging in there and hopefully by the end of the summer he will have made some real progress!

First & Last
Carter’s first day of school in August versus his last day of school in May! Wow!
What a difference. I cannot believe how much taller he has gotten.
Kindergarten here we come!!!!
Field Day/ Last Day of School
Carter’s preschool always celebrates the last day of school with field day! Farmer Sue brings her animals, there is a bounce house, lots of fun water games, and treats galore! We have absolutely loved Carter’s teachers this year and have been so blessed. We will miss them terribly when he starts kindergarten but I am excited knowing that Nolan will follow in his footsteps!!

Sweet Fiona
My cousin Trisha gave birth to a baby girl in early March and we finally got the chance to meet her! Trish flew with her son Finnegan and new baby Fiona all the way from Washington to visit with family and spend some time on the east coast. I am so glad their trip brought them our way so I could get lots of baby snuggles in! I made Fiona and Finnegan matching birth announcements since they share a room and presented them to Trish on their last night in town!

Oh The Places You Will Go!
The school year has flown by and all of a sudden it was time for preschool graduation! The sweet ceremony was held on a Tuesday evening a few weeks before school let out for summer. Carter’s class put on an adorable performance and all the children received a diploma. We have absolutely loved this preschool and simply adore everyone that works there. I am so thankful Nolan will get to follow in big brother’s foot steps and start there in the fall!

Faces of a Sick Bubs
Nolan got the stomach flu at the beginning of May and was just the saddest, most pathetic little thing you’ve ever seen. He doesn’t usually want to cuddle when he’s tired so I had to soak up all the baby snuggles, even though I was on edge the entire time waiting for him to puke on me hahaha

Lake Blue Ridge Weekend
Linc and I don’t really do gifts so I tried to think of something extra special to do to celebrate his birthday. When Sherry offered to take the boys and give us the house in Ellijay, the perfect little getaway weekend was born. I got Matt and Becky to join us on a quick trip to Lake Blue Ridge that started with us surprising Linc in the driveway when their van showed up to drive us!! We went to Cucina Rustica for dinner before hitting the lake for a sunset kayak tour! Our guide then showed us the way into town and we did a local Georgia wine tasting. I was not a fan of any of them, but we bought a few bottles and made our way up to the tree house. The night ended with a roaring fire, hours of gaming, and delicious cookie cake!
