Tiny Towne

Trying to fill our fall break days, I took the boys to an indoor miniature driving course! They got their own license, watched some safety videos, and were let loose in Tiny Towne! They got to learn how to read and follow road signs and practice safe driving. So fun!

September Happenings

Talking Tom toys from McDonalds

Nolan and Ninja checking out the new shower

I started a Mom's bible study called Mother's Fellowship at JCBC

My sweet friend Lisa Desmond brought me a chicken (soup) because I've been sick for a week!

Baby girls attended their first adoption event and were reunited with their brothers!
This was a really difficult day all around but none of the babies were adopted and
we were able to bring the girls back home to decompress.

The Third Anniversary

Sweet flowers from my in laws

Some quiet time with my mama

Hard to believe it's been three years
The days are long but the years are short.
I sure hope she can see all the wonderful things her family is doing.

Lunch at the club with Alex and Dad

After the boys came home from school I just couldn't parent anymore.
Sometimes the grief is all encompassing and all I could manage today was to sleep.

I have the most thoughtful friends. Tam and I have only met in person once but through the world of blogging and social media I count her as one of my most dears. Every year she has sent me a little token to let me know she is thinking of me during this difficult time.
