On Friday after school we decided to hop on the train and go to the beach at Scheveningen. They had a ferris wheel, bungee jumping, indoor arcade, and a beachside restaurant that was nearly deserted. We stayed to watch the sunset, have a few cocktails on the beach, and then rode the train back home!

Fall is Coming

The weather isn’t always good but man…when it is, it is simply lovely!!!

Canoe Tour of North Holland

The American Women’s Club did a canoe tour around an area called Waterland. It was a misty gray day but we still had so much fun paddling around and learning more about this floating country!

Our Amsterdam Apartment

We took a FaceTime tour of this apartment and just hoped it would be as good as it seemed!! It came fully furnished which was a huge plus as all we brought with us was eight suitcases. We have since bought a new TV, a pizza cutter, and a toaster oven but otherwise trying to keep the “stuff” to a minimum.
