Santa came even though Nolan was sick!

The family was worried about getting sick so this is as close as they would come!

Christmas Eve with the Pukes

As soon as we sat down at church on Christmas Eve Nolan started complaining about his throat hurting. Lincoln rushed him to urgent care knowing that we'd be out of luck if he waited a minute longer. Carter and I sat through the service and by the time we were finished, Lincoln came to pick us up. The doctor had diagnosed Nolan with strep and unfortunately the medicine made him terribly sick. Because we had planned to be at dad's for our annual Christmas Eve shrimp and pesto apasta feast (and again the next morning for breakfast) our fridge was almost bare. We threw on our pajamas early, ordered some Chinese food, and watched Home Alone. I was pretty upset to be missing out on our yearly traditions, but it ended up being a nice, quiet night.
