Back to reality after a whirlwind and wonderful weekend!

Dinner at the Grove Park Inn

After a long day of ballooning and hiking, we got all cleaned up and headed to dinner (and second dinner) at the Grove Park Inn. We had drinks on the patio and watched the sunset before heading to the roof top terrace to have our meal. We decided to just do appetizers at the first location because Lincoln was craving steak and had made a second reservation for later in the evening!

After the hot air balloons we decided to do some exploring and hiked a few trails until we found a beautiful waterfall! Lincoln and I had been there the summer before with the Woomers but didn't remember until we were sitting by the falls.

Hot Air Balloons

The reason we were in Asheville is because dad had gifted the sisters hot air balloon tickets! Although we could have launched from anywhere, and separately, we decided to make an entire weekend of it and meet in Asheville to take advantage of peak leaf season! That was the best decision and we are so thankful to dad for this wonderful experience! At one point we were so high, we were flying over the other balloons in our caravan! It was amazing!
