There is never going to be a time when this anniversary gets easier, but thankfully this day we were with friends. Brunch with my friend Dina (whose mom passed away from melanoma has been the most amazing support during this season of life), a little quiet time in the memorial garden (or about as quiet as you can get with a crazy toddler running around), and a few tears shed for the most amazing woman in my life. And yellow...always lots of yellow on this day.
