It seemed like Carter had been talking about Tessa and Westin for weeks, 
asking where they had gone, why we didn’t have dogs anymore, and how much he missed them. I really don’t think he actually remembers them but it was a little strange that he kept bringing up the pups we used to have. He had been asking for a fish for a while too, something to “replace” the dogs. One day after school I told him we could go look, which of course ended up with us getting a fish. He chose a beautiful white, red, and aqua Beta fish and named him Jumpy! Since it was right after school we hadn’t had lunch yet so Jumpy’s first adventure was to come out to lunch. Both boys tried to feed him a sandwich and so we had a long discussion about how to take care of our new friend and what he can and cannot eat!!!
C chose some rocks and a pretty red plant for his new buddy’s tank!
