Hiking in Arosa

We should have known that hiking in Switzerland would be a bit more difficult than we were used to but after setting off for the waterfalls we were too far to turn back! After miles and miles uphill I had a complete panic attack and forced us to stop walking. We could see straight down to the valley below and had reached some deep snow on the mountain. Both boys were crying and we sent Lincoln ahead to find the waterfall while we turned around. The moutain was so steep that we had to scoot down on our butts and I was really worried we would be hurt or fall. When we finally reached the bottom we were so happy and agreed that next time we would stick to an easier path!

This is the moment my mama heart could not handle to hike anymore. Steep climb, slippery snow, and not a guard rail in sight. I literally could not make myself move forward. Even though we were 95% to the top, it was time to turn around!

Stalling with photos because I was too nervous to climb down the mountain
