Happy Mother's Day!

The moment a child is born, the mother is also born.
She never existed before.
The woman existed, but the mother, never.
A mother is something absolutely new.

Happy Mother's Day to all my fellow mommies (and moms-to-be!). We've already had a busy morning and it's barely 10am! Carter has been on his best behavior so far- letting me sleep from 10pm to 3am- and is currently passed out in my arms. Imagine my surprise when I went to change his diaper this morning and there was a little treat waiting for me! I haven't opened it yet because Linc had to go to a tennis match but I can't wait to see what's inside!

My sweet husband and precious son had everything planned!

Is that a Brighton bag I spy? Oh boy!!

And because it's a special day, baby C has something to say:
