Last night Linc and I went to my parent's house for dinner to celebrate my sweet Daddy's birthday! They had just gotten back from a week long trip to Vegas and were craving some home cooking so we had a

yummy "Thanksgiving" dinner with turkey, stuffing, and green bean casserole! My sister Alex was home on spring break and treated us to some golf themed cupcakes that she made from scratch. They had little numbered flags, green icing, and a tiny icing golf ball on top! Not to mention melted cookie dough in the middle- yum yum! I brought along a Fudgie the Whale cake from Carvel and the sugar feast was complete. We played a few rounds of Sets and Runs (our favorite card game), ate, and opened presents and then went home to crash! After three glasses of champagne, a huge turkey dinner, a cupcake, and a piece of ice cream cake I was so full and had a major food coma! Not the best way to start the week points-wise but the food was

delicious and I love that we get to spend so much time with my family! April gives us a little break in celebrations with only one birthday and then the madness starts up again in May with a birthday for Linc, Mom, and Kristin! It's going to be a busy few months as I continue my count down to summer vacation but there is so much to look forward to and I can't wait! Hope everyone is having a great week so far!
we get to have the leftovers tonight! Yum!
