A New(ish) Hobby

I love taking pictures (especially of Carter) but recently I had a few friends ask if I would take their family portraits. I jumped at the chance to try out the new lens I got for our anniversary and also try my hand photographing other people. First up was the Reeders- friends from high school I reconnected with now that we have kids! We went to Poole’s Mill Bridge and I had them pose all over the park. Thankfully they were very easy going and didn’t mind when I suggested they go out in the middle of the river! We had lots of fun and I am hoping this will be the beginning of a new hobby! I still have so much to learn (like how on earth to pose people) but it was a lot of fun and I appreciate their family being so patient while we tried new things.
