We didn't get very close to Buckingham Palace but got a tiny peak!

One of the reasons we came to London in the first place was because Poppy gave us tickets to see The Lion King! Thank goodness Carter was feeling better and we could make it to the show.

Tried to sneak a photo and got in so much trouble. Whoops!

Off to a Rocky Start

 Remember that stomach flu I referenced in the other post? Yeah.... Seems Carter brought the stomach flu to London and unfortunately we spent the first full day mopping up his non stop mess. Barf. Literally lol Thankfully he rallied on the second day and we were able to get out for some fresh air. We also had to end up changing rooms because our hotel was super old and there was no water pressure at all on the fourth floor. We couldn't even wash shampoo out of our hair. After a bit of a hissy fit we managed to get them to give us a new fresh room and started the trip all over again with a better attitude (and significantly healthier child).

Thank goodness this boy is feeling much better. And thank goodness for toast!

Easter Holiday in England

After the kids had Easter breakfast, we zoomed off to the airport and caught a flight to London for the long weekend!! What a cool opportunity to be able to zip off to these once "Once in a Lifetime" destinations and now be able to squeeze them in when we get a day off from school.
