Germans are known for their Reisling and how perfect that the wine festival was going on this weekend! We had a few too many glasses, the kids got ice cream three times (!!!!!), and everyone had a wonderful time!

Weekend in Weisbaden

IMG_5117

Baby Kolin was turning 3 years old so we hoped a train to go visit the German Hams and celebrate with them for the weekend. The cousins hadn’t seen each other since Cole and Leslie were stationed in Germany so it was a great chance to reconnect and soak up some family time!

Nolan’s first playground war wound! Ouch!!! He fell right on his face. Carter fell asleep in line at the T-Mobile store trying to set up our new phones. It’s been a whirlwind few weeks since moving to the Netherlands and we are making the most of every minute!

The Catacombs

IMG_5042

We waited in line for FOUR hours to see the Catacombs…it was the only thing Lincoln truly wanted to see and I can’t really decide whether it was worth it. I stood in line the entire time while the boys went to get breakfast, then snacks, then on a walk…lol I would recommend if this is on your list to get tickets ahead of time and don’t waste your whole life sitting on the sidewalk waiting to enter!

After the Catacombs we walked through one portion of a cemetery with the most gorgeous tombs.
