First Snow
On December 12th we got the first snow of winter! It was only the slightest dusting but it was special because it was the first time Carter got to see little fluffy snowflakes! We were over at Hattie’s house bringing her some Christmas cheer (she is still healing from surgery) and I took advantage of having access to her new camera! Baby C was in a silly mood and had fun showing of all his teeth while we watched the snow come down from inside. We also snapped a few outside when it was time to head home and C humored me by wearing his heavy winter vest and hat for pictures.

BB White Elephant Party
On December 11th, the Mullens (Beth, Tim, & baby Trent) hosted the First Annual Baby Brigade White Elephant Exchange! It was a great night filled with delicious Mexican food, lively competition, and lots of babies! The hot item of the night was a Jimmy Johns gift card and after that husbands were fighting over a remote key finder, hiking pack, and beer mugs. It was such a fun game and hopefully everyone walked away happy! The babies had fun being in a new environment and playing with all of Trent’s toys. We can’t wait for Beth and baby Trent to join our group full time in January!

Holiday Playgroup
The babies are growing up and play group has changed a lot since we all first met! We have sitters, rollers, crawlers, and assisted walkers! How quickly things change! Last week at Laurie’s house we posed all our little ones in front of her beautiful tree. We might not all celebrate Christmas, but I know everyone can appreciate the wonder and excitement in the baby’s eyes as they explore the trees and take in all the decorations that December brings. I can’t wait for everyone to see our house all decked out for the holidays when we host the First Annual Secret Santa Party coming up!

Train Set & Stockings
We have been spending a lot of time at Hattie’s house while she recovers from surgery. A few months ago she found a full train set at a garage sale and got it for a steal! We decided to pull it out the other evening to entertain Carter but all he wanted to do was eat it! In between play sessions we also had him pose with his new needlepoint stocking that just happens to be extra large for all his presents!
