Saturday night all the Hamilton kids surprised Sherry (Bella) at her 50th birthday party! Cole and Leslie drove in from Charleston, Madison came from Statesboro, and we just hopped on the highway and drove down to the party site! I forgot to bring my camera so I borrowed these from online. It was a very fun night and Carter tried to be on his best behavior! He got a little cranky at the end but I am pretty sure a great time was had by all! Happy Birthday Bella!!

Lunch Date
Blogs and message boards are great ways to connect with people. I am so glad to have access to the internet in order to communicate with people I might not have ever been able to meet had it not been for the world wide web. When I got pregnant I started following a few other Atlanta moms-to-be in their journeys- comparing stories, symptoms, etc. After blog stalking them online, I was eventually able to meet two girls in person!
I posted about Krissy and Baby Bignon back in February when we met up for lunch while we were both still pregnant. Through her blog I was introduced to Shari and followed along on her last few months of being pregnant. We both had our babies and after swapping emails and comments on each others blogs we decided it was time to get together.
Today, we finally got a chance to hang out and get to know each other in real life! Shari's son Spencer is two days older than Carter and I am sure the boys will have a lot of fun together- I know I did!! Shari, Krissy, and I (and a few other ladies) will all be hanging out on Monday for a March Mommies Meet Up. I am so glad I got a chance to meet these girls and have people who can relate to what I am going through every step of the way. I think it's extra special that we all have boys too and I cannot wait for lots of play dates in the future!
Our sweet boys slept the entire time and allowed the
mommies some time to chat and get to know each other!

A Month of Firsts
We've ventured over to Hattie and Poppy's for dinner many times, but recently Carter had his first meal at a restaurant! We met Kris and Ryan for lunch at Chepes on Saturday and chowed down on some delicious food. C slept almost the entire time and managed to save his fussiness for after I was done eating! Such a sweet boy ;)
Great day for eating outside and cuddling the bub!
Another first this month-- outlet shopping with Hattie and Alex! I have been very anxious about going out in public with C (God forbid he starts crying................) but thankfully he was in a pretty good mood on Wednesday and we headed out for a little retail therapy. Carter got a few new outfits from the Carter outlet and I stocked up on some post maternity clothes. I am still ten pounds away from my pre preggo weight, but I needed stuff to wear now! Alex works for JCrew so she managed to score some amazing deals for me and now I have a few things to wear while I work to get the last bit of this weight off. And yet another first-- while we were shopping I nursed C in the dressing room! It was an interesting experience but helped boost my confidence about going out for longer periods of time. Luckily mom and Alex had lots to try on so they didn't mind! He did cry and fuss, but we survived and had a great time.

Baby's First Easter
We had so much fun celebrating Easter with all of our family. Kris, Ryan, and Grammy came into town, Uncle Greg flew in, and Aunt Cin and the cousins came by too! It was the Trottas' last Easter before their big move up north, but hopefully they will be around a bit longer while they wait for their house to sell.
Carter was on his best behavior and got spoiled by the Easter Bunny (not to mention all the family)! We had a mini photo shoot to commemorate Carter's first month of life, ate some delicious food, and enjoyed everyone's company. It was a beautiful day and I am very happy that we have so many great pictures to help remember this special occasion!

Four Generations
Carter got to meet his great Grammy the other day and spent lots of time cuddling in her arms. It was such a special time to have four generations together to celebrate his four week birthday!
