Harbour Town

What better way to wear out our wild boys than to take them

to the Harbour Town park to run around and be monkeys!

More Fun at HHI

One of the evenings we were in Hilton Head, the grown ups were gracious enough to baby sit so the “big kids” could go on a date night! We got all dressed up and headed to Harbour Town to eat at Topside at the Quarter Deck. We filled up on crab bisque, surf and turf, and molten chocolate lava cake!

The rest of the week was spent soaking up the last of the summer sun, doing puzzles, eating huge family style dinners, and relaxing as much as possible. The men golfed a few times, we went shopping, and everyone enjoyed themselves to the fullest! It was hard to say goodbye on Saturday and we can’t wait to go back again as soon as possible- this time with h2o and baby cousin Lynch along!

Of course we had to eat at the Lands End Tavern on National Talk Like a Pirate Day!

HHI Tennis Tourney

We are very lucky that almost everyone in our family plays tennis so of course while we were in HHI we had to have a tournament! My mom worked hard coming up with a bracket that gave us a chance to either play with or against everyone involved. My Grammy and I counted as one person because I am hugely pregnant and wasn’t sure how much tennis I could handle and she is 83!! Well, wouldn’t you know that between the two of us we came in first place! There were prizes for first, second, and third place male and female and the Nathan girls cleaned up! Kristin and Alex ended up having to play a single tie breaker to decide second and third place and my dad and “the other” Alex had a match to determine first place. Linc came in third for the guys and I think a fabulous time was had by all! My mom picked some awesome Tervis tumblers as prizes and we had a mini ceremony at the end. Such a fun morning!
