Let us not become weary in doing good,
for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
Galatians 6:9
Our Friday Friends group is growing and we love getting to spend time with all our little buddies! Carter and I hosted our new pals a few weeks ago and I finally remembered to get the babies lined up for a photo! I missed taking a few of the mommy’s photos but you can see we had a great turn out! Unfortunately, Evan did not want to have his picture taken so he was not thrilled to sit on the couch with everyone, but we can always try again next time! Thanks for coming friends! See you soon!
LOVE how Vivie and Kayden are interacting here!
“Whatcha reading Grace?”
Grace and Carter sharing some snack!
This was from a different day but had to share! Carter loves Vivie!
It has been so incredibly hot here that playing outside isn’t even remotely fun. Carter and I have been trying to find creative ways to pass the afternoon and I finally remembered to bring out the art supplies. C has pretty good fine motor skills and since he hates getting his hands dirty I knew he would enjoy and could handle using a paint brush. We poured out all the colors, set up a make shift easel, got nakie (just him) and set to work! Carter loved mixing the colors and rubbing the brush all over the paper. I was so happy to see his final creations and even framed three of them in his playroom!
While the Morgans were here for the big wedding weekend we made sure to take some time to capture baby Nathan’s twelve week photos. He is so adorable and makes the most animated facial expressions. I just want to eat him up! I forgot to put up a back drop to disguise the fact that he was laying on a bed, but I still think these photos are so cute! Maybe one of these days when I have spare time (hahahahaha) I’ll work a little Photoshop magic and get rid of the head board in the background. Nathan has already changed so much in twelve short weeks and I can’t wait to see him (and my sister, of course!!) again soon.
Trying to get Carter to pose with his baby cousin was nearly impossible!
And now…here is a collection of when Carter had absolutely enough of the posing!
He couldn’t roll away fast enough!
Boys being boys.
Yes, even more photos from the wedding we attended on July 30th! I have posted about them a million times but the Harvey’s are my parent’s best friends and have been for 20+ years. We have been through a lot together and consider them family! Oldest son Brendon and his wife Robyn (and baby Grace) live in our neighborhood. I missed youngest daughter Ashley’s wedding last year because Carter had just been born and we couldn’t travel. What can I say, I was a little shutter happy and it’s just so nice to have been able to go to this special event. With only one wedding left on our side of the family (in the far…far future…) the next thing we’re looking forward to is the addition of two Harvey babies in January!
Carter and his little buddy Liam have only seen each other a handful of times but at the Harvey/Holly wedding they had a blast playing together! We also enjoyed spending time with Brendon, Robyn, and Grace and the whole rest of the Harvey family. We boogied down till the wee hours of the night and Carter charmed all the ladies with the flower girl bouquet.
Love, love, love my family!!!
Welcome to the Harvey Family Circle of Trust Buck…You’re family now!
